What panels work with this inverter?
Any panel rated 280W–550W whose working voltage (Vmp) sits within the 25–55V DC input window. Each of the 4 MPPT inputs takes one panel, and different wattages can be mixed.
Do I need a battery with a grid-tie inverter?
No. A grid-tie micro inverter converts DC straight into 230V AC and feeds it into your home circuit. Batteries are only needed if you want off-grid storage — that requires a hybrid system instead.
How do I set up WiFi monitoring?
Scan the QR on the side of the unit in the free Solarman app, connect over WiFi, and you'll see live output, daily generation, error codes and system status from anywhere.
Can I limit the output power to meet my grid operator's rules?
Yes. Output is adjustable from 5% to 100% in the app — perfect for countries or utilities that cap how much you're allowed to feed back into the grid.
Do I need an electrician to install it?
The DC side (panels + MC4 connectors) is plug-and-play. The AC grid connection should always be wired and signed off by a certified installer.
